This jacket is crafted from an original WWII parachute carrying bag, reworked by hand into a one of a kind garment. The fabric is a heavy cotton canvas that carries the marks, wear, and patina of its past life no two areas are the same, and that history is left intentionally visible. The jacket is fully lined in cotton for structure and comfort, with leather buttons chosen to complement the material’s utilitarian origins. A cropped silhouette gives it a modern proportion while preserving the toughness of the original textile. Designed and handmade by me, this piece balances function, history, and wearable preservation rather than reproduction.
